assign a surface that is reparametarized, and extract its mesh boundaries
explode each sides of the mesh boundaries as curves and subdivide this to a number of segments (the higher the subdivision, the finer the resulting geometries will be)
extract the X,Y,Z properties in order to determine its Z-values, which will be listed as separate lists based on your desired range connect the high point and low point of each mesh cell as a line to produce a general geometric understanding of the potential flow of infiltration
visualize the intensity of infiltration based on the topographic slope of the surface
based on your topographic studies of where particular plant species would grow, create a range of points (defined by their Z-values) to approximate the zones of vegetal proliferation
